Ardingly 31st Oct/1st November – Covid FAQ

admin

In answer to many questions which are time consuming to reply to each of you individually (although I try):

Yes we are going to hold the fair as promised but with covid precautions.

We have completed a risk assessment with everything considered re covid to bring you this event as safely as possible, even changing venue!

Differences will be:

We are selling tickets in advance via eventbrite but will still be cash at the door as usual as you prefer so please have the correct money ready to minimise contact and for this reason are also unable to offer the usual £1 discount for our mailing list at this fair, there are also no brochures or flyers available.

Please bring adequate cash for your purchases as there is no atm facility and not all traders can take card payments.

As we have such a large undercover area and open air space we are not restricted to numbers.

If you have any gigs planned, please do not leave flyers but we will take one copy for our noticeboard or you can email to me and I will share on our social media.

Hand gel on entry and throughout the fair so please use, use and reuse.

Track & Trace book app code on entry for lead person of any couple/group (six max). To be destroyed 21 days after the event.

Face masks (unless exempt) whilst going through reception and whilst shopping indoors..

Social distancing throughout the event, no more than 6 in any one group.

Dancing is undercover please maintain social distancing.

There will be seating available in the dance area.

Please dance only with your household members or those in your bubble. Strolling, please maintain the recommended distancing of 1m.

If the weather is good there is outside dancing too!

Please stay 2m from the bands/singers whilst performing.

If you need to talk, and music is loud, there are many places you can be away from the music so there is no need to shout.

Tearooms please clear your table after use so we can clean quickly for next customers.

Please be mindful of those that cannot wear a mask due to health reasons that may/may not be obvious.

If we can all adhere to the above then we can enjoy the weekend- thank you

In 16 years we’ve never had to ask anyone to leave for bad or inconsiderate behaviour so let’s keep it that way please.

Thank you

Dee
